So, I've been sitting here at home and been trying to think about what I could possibly share with all of you, what is something that I ABSOLUTELY have to share with the world? and then it dawned on me. FOOD. I mean who in the heck doesn't love food? It's comforting, fun, and not to mention; delicious. So, what are some things I can share with you:
I'll come here once a week (lets say every Sunday) and fill you in on a new healthy and cheap recipe that I've discovered within the last 7 days. Breakfasts? lunches? dinners? snacks? I'll share a new one every week and I'll even mix it up a little bit for ya'll.
This weeks guilty pleasure is Greek Yogurt Breakfast Bark. (if I'm being honest though, I eat it anytime I please lol) I found it on Pintrest (i mean hello! its the basis of life nowadays) It's healthy, delicious; and with only 5 ingredients it's simple and CHEAP (I mean we don't need to be breaking the bank on food, and I'm a strict budget kind of girl). All you need is greek yogurt, granola, maple syrup and some strawberries and blueberries. So you need to make it, I swear your taste buds and your bank account will thank me.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups plain Greek yogurt
3 tbs maple syrup
1/2 cup Quaker® Real Medleys SuperGrains Blueberry Pecan Granola
1/2 cup blueberries
3 to 4 strawberries, sliced
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Mix Greek yogurt and syrup in a bowl until combined. Pour onto prepared baking sheet and spread into a thin layer. Top with Real Medleys Super Grains Blueberry Pecan Granola, blueberries, and strawberries.
Cover the baking sheet with a piece of aluminum foil. Place in the freezer for two hours, or overnight, until the bark is fully frozen. Slice into desired squares. Serve immediately and keep stored in the freezer in an airtight container or bag.
